Emptied the saddlebag. Found three things I needed and a good many things I have apparently been carrying around for no reason. Thought I ought to make a list.
Was going to call this supplies. Valuables would be pushing it. Settled on things not to sit on. Some of it came from the fishing trip. Have not worked out how.
Things that belong to me
A pencil, a tin cup, and a photograph so worn I can no longer tell who is in it. Keeping it. Might be somebody I like.
Things that probably do not
A silver spoon and a small bottle marked P.B.U.R. Man who sold it said it cured everything.1
About the spoon
Has an R scratched into it. Could stand for Arthur if you spell it wrong.
About the bottle
Smells like turpentine.
Instructions
Drink twice daily. Decided once was more than enough.

Somewhere along the way
Stopped here to draw. Horse ate part of the page.
Quiet spot. No one asking for money or medical attention. Could have stayed longer.
